On Friday, December 16 2022 at 9 p.m., Teatro Doglio will host Junior Robinson, one of the UK’s most acclaimed gospel artists and winner of the Gospel Award for “Best Singer of the Year,” with the Black Soul Gospel Choir.
Junior Robinson has appared in numerous TV and Radio programs, and he also has taken part in musicals such as “Mama, I want to sing” in 1995, with pop and gospel stars Chaka Khan, Deniece Williams and Mica Paris, staged in London’s West End.
Robinson regularly performs his music in Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Poland and has appeared on numerous albums both as a soloist and as a chorister and collaborator for other great artists such as Coolio, Michael Bolton and Yolanda Adams. He was also recently invited to sing with the “Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra” in Poland.
During the evening, 25 artists including choristers and musicians will take the audience on a grand journey through the sounds of Contemporary Gospel, that has evolved over the centuries to become a message of hope, joy and love and that originates from the essence of Spiritual meets Blues, Jazz and Soul.
Junior Robinson’s voice and the music of the Black Soul Gospel Choir will make the soul sing.
